As a continuing student in Hampton University's Phd progarm (concentration track in accounting), I am currently preparing for the comprensive examination this coming Spring. As a result I am entering an increased research mindset specifically in academic research. My main goal is to do academic research pertaining to mostly the behavioral science aspect of accounting and finance research that is still quantitatively grounded. As also a teaching professor, my emphasis will include student involvement. Lastly, I want to use SPSS to serve as a springboard for subsequent financial-economicaly based research.
